Mensch in the Making is a series of short, interactive situational dilemmas for grandparents and grandchildren to explore together. Each activity begins with a real-life situation children might face, introduces a related Jewish value or teaching, and encourages discussion, perspective-taking, and decision-making.
Along the way, children build important life skills — such as empathy, responsibility, self-control, and problem-solving — while discovering how Jewish wisdom can guide their choices.
There are no perfect answers. The goal is to think together, listen to one another, and discover the “mensch move” — the response that you feel reflects kindness, integrity, and respect for others. One conversation at a time, grandparents can help shape the character and values that grandchildren will carry into the future.
